Common Questions

Yes. All UACA events are USCF-rated and require a valid USCF membership. You can join or renew at uschess.org. Annual memberships start at $20 for scholastic players.

We recommend registering at least two weeks before the event. Some events close early when sections fill up. Deadlines are listed on each tournament page.

Absolutely. UACA welcomes players of all backgrounds. Our Ukrainian heritage is a source of pride, not a barrier to entry.

Yes. Every UACA event includes rated sections for beginners and scholastic players. Youth tournaments are organized by age group (U8, U10, U14, U18).
